      - What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?

Sometimes judges or even other members sugest lines that you weren't considering. Both sides, posting and evaluating are great to improve your game.

It sucks when someone doesn't convert the hand or shows the results. When I'm out of patience I just skip the hand.

      - How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?
I'm not watching that many videos or coachings, so the forums are very important to me.

      - What would motivate you to post more hands?
      A T-Shirt promo :f_biggrin:

      - Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?
Evaluating because I evaluate more than I post. But I think the gain in knowlege/hand is bigger when you post, cause is always a spot where you are not sure what to do.

      - Are you happy with the forums as they are?
Yes. The status/limits seems to be allright. The ony time I couldn't access the limits I was playing wsa when I return from a vaccation and was back to bronze.

      - Is there anything that keeps you from posting hands?
I'm using the converter from pokerstrategy. I remember having problems with SnG or Torney hands, don't know if they still exist.

      - What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?

These forums are like a private coaching. But instead one coach, everyone can judge you. And it's all free!

      - How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?
For me hand evaluation boards are the best way of improving. Posting hands is the most important thing to do (together with right mindset) for a starting poker player.

      - What would motivate you to post more hands?

Faster and more stabile judging. Sometimes threads stay empty for days, sometimes they get judged instantly. Also a downswing would of course motivate me to post more hands.

      - Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?

No, posting is more important. I rejudge my selected hands, and post only these in which I can't find the right solution. Improves analyzive thinking. It is necessary to think about the hand that you post and write comments.

      - Are you happy with the forums as they are?

Yes. Post more hands in the FL section please.

      - Is there anything that keeps you from posting hands?

Laziness. Upswing. Better skills at judging my hands by myself, equilator.

      Thanks, santostr :D

2: How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?
      - Very important i would say! A great community!

3: What would motivate you to post more hands?
      - To have pro's and reliable persons to judge and evaluate my hands.

4: Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?

1: What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?
      - One thing I don't like is that the access is based on status. I totally understand it though and it's my problem that I play on site where I am not tracked (I really want to be though :/). I like the whole idea of these forums and professional judges are great. What could be better is other players joining the discussions in threads from someone else (I did not really do a great job in that myself, but will try more :f_biggrin: )

2: How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?
      - forums >> videos and coachings

3: What would motivate you to post more hands?
      - I guess i would feel more motivated if there were some regular contests for the most interesting hand/post of the week or something of that sort.

4: Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?
      - Evaluatin hands, i think. The reason is that when I evaluate som hand, i am thinking about the answer. On the other hand when I am posting a hand I often think only about the question and just read the answer from somebody else and don't really think about it much.

5: Are you happy with the forums as they are?
      - Answered this in the first question i guess.

6: Is there anything that keeps you from posting hands?
      - Status because of not being tracked :f_cry: and sometimes I am lazy to go through my hands (that's gonna change though, cos i found that going through hands with someone from studygroup is a lot of fun [anyone interested in analysing FLSH hands together just send me a message or something])

What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?

It's a fantastic way to test your knowledge in a wide array of tricky situations. Only thing I don't like is that a lot of people post their opinions about hands without giving their reasons... this doesn't really contribute anything useful to the discussion.

How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?

More important than the videos. Probably more than the coachings too, because you get personalised feedback in the forum which you don't in the large coachings

What would motivate you to post more hands?

The hoodie is a nice reward for sure, but I want to make more money playing SnGs, thats my main motivation :D

Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?

Hmmmmm hard to say. My mindset benefits more from evaluating hands, while posting hands is probably better for leak-finding.

Are you happy with the forums as they are?

      Yep

Is there anything that keeps you from posting hands?

      Nope

What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?

Like: having better players look at my mistakes and pointing out my leaks.
Dislike: having to wait, or getting a three word answer. Not helpful really.

How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coaching?
I learn better by watching and having instant feedback so I prefer coachings and videos. The forums give me insight into other games/formats and styles I may not have encountered so that is great for my learning. I do though, think the forums are of major importance, indispensible really.

What would motivate you to post more hands?
making it easier to convert HH from my site. Not all of us play on the 'Big' sites.
Maybe there is a way to convert/post straight from H.E.M., I don't know.

Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?

Because of the above I don't post many except in coaching sessions and my evaluation skills are poor when it's another player, as you need to know what you're on about or you may feed them BS.

What do you and what don't you like about the hand evaluation forums?

I like it that all players can express their opinion. This way you learn a lot about alternative ways to play a hand.

How important are the forums to you, besides videos and coachings?

Just as important as videos and coachings. I visit them on a regular basis.

What would motivate you to post more hands?

Moving up a limit where everyone seems to read me like a book :f_cool: . That will surely motivate me to post like crazy until I can beat the limit. This promotion will probably make me post a few more hands but only as long as I can learn something...

Do you benefit more from evaluating hands or from posting hands?

I think I benefit more from evaluating because when I post I know the result. When I evaluate I'm less result oriented.

Are you happy with the forums as they are?

Yeah, they seem just fine to me.

Is there anything that keeps you from posting hands?

Yeah, playing poker... can't play and post at the same time. :f_love:
