      Most of the time when you check such a flop your hand becomes a little bit face up 99-QQ but you have to call him unless you got reads on him because he can be bluffing very easily with the shown weakness from your side.Cheking the flop is okey,although a bet to get rid of any high cards that missed(Ax,JQ and so on)but which can hit the turn and beat you isn't bad.If you bet flop check the turn and most of the times call his river bet depending on bet size and bet timing.

      since board is so dry I don´t expect players to make there moves, so I think c-bet is fine
      You also protect against hand that has enough equity, like AQ and which should fold on the flop
      after you checked the flop calldown is reasonable. I think he would often barrel or even valuebetting there worse hands, since your hand looks a lot like Ax or some pp that you went pot control on the flop
