Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):
      $5.53
      BU:
      $4.23
      SB:
      $2.45
      BB:
      $4.02
      UTG1:
      $4.30
      UTG2:
      $13.42
      MP1:
      $1.90
      MP2:
      $8.45
      MP3:
      $3.63

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, K.
      2 folds, MP1 calls $0.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, 3 folds, MP1 calls $0.15.

      Flop: ($0.47) A, 7, A (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks.

      Turn: ($0.47) 7 (2 players)
      MP1 bets $1.70(All-In), Hero calls $1.70.

      River: ($3.87) 3 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $3.87.

I check the flop to induce some bluffs by QQ-. Overbet is weird but villain might be doing that with a lot of holdings so it's fine to call, right?

I would raise a bit bigger against that shorty pre.
To induce bluffs you have to be sure he wouldn't raise preflop hands like QQ/JJ/TT and he's willing to bet them on such a board. After such a shove he may show up Ax, but it can be FD or even 7x as well. There should be enough trash hands to justify Ax situations, so I think stacking off is fine.
Just my humble opinion u know... :)

I think it is fine against middlestack
If you think you gain more checking back flop then your play is fine
You can also b/f or b/c flop
