Tracking your poker stats in live play

I just would like to know if it is recommended to track my basic stats (e.g. # of hours played versus earnings) in live cash games? Or is this only recommended when I'm already playing in high limits? I'm currently playing in micro limits (10/20 of local currency)...

Thank you in advance for your advices!

I´am doing that - just for my own pleasure . And why ?

1.)I was curios about my value in live games - so i started to do that...
2.)I was also interested in comparing those stats with my online playing...

      wtf 10/20 low stakes
what is the exchange rate with USD?
      limit or NL?
either way i think u should keep track of basic stats like number of hours and profits. It is not 100% neccassary but is useful in evaluating the profitablilty of a live game.

I guess it would be easy enough to track winnings/hr by hand with a pen and paper, and then figuring out whether its statisically significant would only be a matter of volume :)
