      villain i assumed was an abc reg his stats are pretty std, i decide to 3bet him light as im IP and when he raises $1.75 he NEVER has TT+ AJs+, he almost always has sooted conectors and small-medium pps, thats why i cant see where iv gone wrong when he flats i put him on 22-99 and maybe the odd connector, flop confirms a pair imo, so is there still room for a thin value bet on the river

      he may or may not call there with 88 but since you mostly has there best hand and unless he has there 55 or 66 or A high that he decided to c/c flop I think you should have the best hand
      So I´d bet there 8$ and likely also willing to call c/r
