      villain stats:
      27/1 AFq:37
      125 hand sample.
      Fold to Cbet: 0

      Boss Media $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

      Hero (BTN): $3.94
      SB: $6.89
      BB: $12.24
      UTG: $0.80
      UTG+1: $0.69
      MP: $3.89
      CO: $0.86

Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero is BTN with A :diamond: Q :club:
2 folds, MP calls $0.04, CO calls $0.04, Hero raises to $0.20, 2 folds, MP calls $0.16, 1 fold

      Flop: ($0.50) A :club: 2  7 :club: (2 players)
MP bets $0.12, Hero raises to $0.40, MP calls $0.28

      I'm expecting 22+, AT+ JTs+ QJ+ KT+
      Turn: ($1.30) 3  (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.69, MP calls $0.69

hmm two potential flush draws, I need to protect my hand and also get value from lower Ace hands.
      River: ($2.68) 2 :spade: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $1.75, MP calls $1.75

I notice this particular hero absolutely detests calling allins, but doesn't mind calling off 4/5 stack :f_o. I figure this might be a slightly better line to take than just shoving the river vs villain
      Final Pot: $6.18
MP shows A :spade: K :club:
      MP wins $5.57
      (Rake: $0.61)

what should I change here? What would be optimal river bet size. is this play OK? I think his range is pretty wide here, and vill is the type to chase draws

I think it's fine. I would make turn bet bigger for protection, but I think overall there should be enough draws to raise flop and bet turn and there are still a lot of worse Ax hands in his range to bet river.

      Dare I say it? Activate auto-rebuy for 100bb ;)

The hand looks fine to me. It's just a setup. Other players have to win too, in order for you to have a crowded aquarium :f_biggrin:

Isn't there a Get Chips button or something similar in the table menu? Maybe you can setup some hotkey to auto-rebuy. It's the key to BSS to play with 100bb. Here you almost have 100 but sometimes you won't pay atention to your stack and get only 80bb in a AA vs KK situation or other hands you are >70% favorite to win, which is pretty much considering average winrates are something like 6-7BB/100.

O believe me, after you play a month in such a site it's like your 2nd nature to click "but chips" manually on all tables :D
It sure is annoying but there is nothing we can do about it

About the hand - nh. I would probably make the bets before the river bigger, so that the draws that miss and fold to our river bet give us better value.

BattleHunter I disagree. villain is a calling station. bloating a pot so you can't get away from it will cause more trouble than its worth imo. I would howver bet $1 on the turn in future. i'm happy with the rest.

      Nh
      I´d played the same way
You beat most of the Ax hands that he has, so you should bet for value all 3 streets your AQ
