Just wondering what sort of money profitable players are making a month at the 50/1, 1/2 sort of stakes? how many hands/day you're playing e.t.c and what sort of bankroll you have behind you?? any response is welcome!thanks.

if going pro, very tight BRM is neccessary.. other can be calculated on in-win-built calculator and hands/day depends on each ones attitude and whether is he playing for winrate or grinding the most hands possible.

btw: 0.5/1 is still considered to be 'low stake'

Wooot, how did you get to those figures? If you're winning 3bb/100 hands and playing 0,8k*30days = 24k hands in a month you should be making:

3\$*240= 720\$

On top of pure winrate of course bonuses and rakeback.

I'd guess you're raking roundabout 2,2k in a month, so with 25% rakeback you gain back:

0,25*2,2k= 550\$

So your monthly earnings by playing 24k hands of pokahh would be 1.270\$. I'd guess you're playing roughly 500 hands per hour meaning your \$/hour would be ~25\$.

After this math, don't see how you could only make ~500\$ per month.

by seriously i meant playing 8 hours a day 5 days in the week. this will give u enough volume so that with a mediocre winrate and rb u get 10k

10k a month isn't that easy. I'd say 2-4k is quite easy, above that requires a good month, unless you have too many tables open at a time, and I don't know how healthy that is..

Does anyone here play 8 hours/ day?

I could maybe do it if i played 1 morning and 1 night session (if i wasn't working obv) but not every day.

I find poker more taxing than any job i've had

I don't think so ,but i'm counting the time i'm reading poker books and watching videos as part of work. I think the best would be 3 x 1.5h sessions ,20 min break beetween ,1h video and 1h a book maybe. more or less 8h

I can easily make 10h/day and usually do like 14 if I really want to play. But that's with a lot of waiting so it's not really tough and I just play 1 table HU at a time aswell.

It's about the mindset a lot, and I also believe that NL100/200 is not what you should be playing when you want to go pro. Or well, you can start on that, but your goal should imo always be as high as possible.
