      If you are ahead of him on flop, you are most likely ahead on turn as well, so betting is fine, because I don't expect him to have a lot of 8x in his 3bet calling range unless he's some kind of maniac.
      I tend to bet turn as he may have FD, lower PP, Tx or even SD.

      betting turn is fine
      I think you can also take c/rai line, since seems like this guy likes to make moves, so you can also trap him with your overpair
