      Hi himanshu1988,

Welcome to PokerStrategy and the community, it's good to see you.

The main tips I can give maybe seem simple but they really do work, trust me ;)

      * Absorb as much knowledge as you can, read & re-read the strategy articles, watch some videos and try to attend a few free live coaching sessions.

      * BRM, BRM, BRM.... Bankroll Management is vital to ensure that you maximise your potential whilst protecting your existing funds. Don't be in a hurry to move up the stakes, only play on the levels allowed by a sensible BRM and don't worry about moving down limits. You will often have to drop a level, but with experience and knowledge you will soon be back up and moving on.

      * Trial & Error. Gain as much experience on the lower micro-stakes as you can before moving up. The strategy guides and other educational material here are superb but sometimes there's nothing like actually actually playing hands where you learn how to cope with certain situations.

      * Don't let bad beats get you down. Pocket aces are beatable (and often do), but as long as you consistently get your money in with the best hand, over time you will end up +ve.

      * Keep an open mind and always look to adapt your game. Even pro's like Phil Ivey openly state that they are learning all the time.

      * Last, but not least.... Enjoy your poker. Everyone plays better with a clear head and whilst relaxed.

Welcome once again, we look forward to seeing you become active in the forums in due course.

      Good luck & enjoy,
