i thought that i could call once on the flop to see his turn action since he could bet with flush draws there which i beat. turn gave me 2 pair and i decided to raise for value. river completed the flush and he checked to me. i was wondering if i was ever getting any value there and if he was going to check the completed flush to me.

94o is bit loose to open even if you´re at BU
I would bet river for value.
He´d call you down with Jx hand and he doesn´t have there flush too often, rather one pair hand. So 3-4$ valuebet is fine there
