I have just checked my HEM stats for hands where I check/called the River on nl100.
I have 163 hands and have lost just over $2000.

Thinking about this logically, when we check/call we are usually bluff catching and so we don't expect to be ahead that often. But this still seems like a lot of money in not that many hands and I'm pretty sure I'm calling too often when I really should expect to be beat.

my bb/100 for this stat is = -1230/100.

Anyone care to share similar information to help me identify a leak?

      Thanks

mine is brake even in 190 hands at NL20 SH
When is check/call its not just bluff catching i slow play from time to time or check back if opp is fish or with high river agression, cos you know you can extract more value out of him like this.

Its not like all that money was lost just on the river bet you check called. Most of it I assume was already in the pot, and you would have lost that if you folded anyway. The real analysis needs to be, whats your earnings/losses just from the last river bet that you called. If you called and won, you won the whole pot, but if you called and lost, you only lost the additional river bet, seeing as the rest would have been lost anyway had you folded.

That's a jolly good point. If anyone knows how to get HEM to tell me that, they get a big sloppy kiss

      -1026 bb in 102 situations...

but i went through last 42 and the costs on river only were only -180bb - some mistakes happened ofc so it should be a bit less..
