      Hi,

      Checking my re-steal theory.

      Situation 1
We are the BB with 20xbb starting stack.
In the BTN there is a SSS stealing 35% and folding to re-steal 45% so he calls 20%

If I fill in these values in the sheet from Xarry, I would need 41% EQ to be 1xbb +EV.

So the range we can re-steal is:
      22+
      A7o+
      A2s+
      KTs+
      KJo+

      Situation 2
We are the BB with 20xbb starting stack.
In the BTN there is a SSS stealing 31% and folding to re-steal 60% so he calls 18.5%

If I fill in these values in the sheet from Xarry, I would need 33% EQ to be 1xbb +EV.

So the range we can re-steal is:
      22+
      A2+
      K9o+
      K2s+
      Q9o+
      Q2s+

      Are these calculations correct?

      Thanks,

      T.

      at first: ty

      situation 1:

the resteal hands are correct, I had the same output (with my own chart ;) )

      situation 2:

if he raises 31% and folds 60%, he only calls 12,4

      Hi,

      Whoops @ situation 2... Thanks :)

      Situation 2
With 12,4% calling range we can resteal then:
      22+

      A2s+
      K3s+
      Q5s+
      J7s+
      T7s+
      96s+
      86s+
      75s+
      64s+
      54s

      A7o+, A5o-A3o
      KTo+
      QTo+
      JTo

That is 34% range which is even wider than his steal range :f_o:
Is it always the case when the fold to resteal is >50% that our re-steal range is his steal range or even wider?

      Situation 3
We are the BB with 20xbb starting stack.
In the BTN there is a SSS stealing 6% (88+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+) and folding to re-steal 60% so he calls 2,5% (QQ+, AKs, AKo)

If I fill in these values in the sheet from Xarry, I would need 33% EQ to be 1xbb +EV.

So the range we can re-steal is:
      22+
      AK

      Which is 7% :P

      Situation 4
We are the BB with 20xbb starting stack.
In the BTN there is a SSS stealing 6% (88+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+) and folding to re-steal 50% so he calls 3% (JJ+, AKs, AKo)

If I fill in these values in the sheet from Xarry, I would need 36% EQ to be 0xbb +EV.

So the range we can re-steal is:
      JJ+
      AK

      Which is 3% :P

This would make it super easy to make calculations during play :f_cool:

a standard SHC playing shortie will always call 88+ AJ+ to a resteal because the strategy says this ;)

      to Situation 2:

it is true that we can resteal o lot of hands against somebody who steals a lot und also folds a lot against resteals, but plz look at your hands and do not resteal any 2 because if he calls this will destroy your image for the future
