      I raise that preflop as a standard, 88 is too strong against a random limping and the any-two-cards BB to just call and get oudraw. Even if he limp/call most players aren't strong enough that you should worry about playing 88 postflop out of position profitably.

      I like your line postflop, you'll get worse pocket pairs and even A-high to call down sometimes. It's possible BB has 5x sometimes but I doubt any of them has Jx. It's a bit thin but erring on the side on valuebetting when you see value will get you further then erring on the side of being scared.
