      Yes. It connects very well with a halfstacks calling range, and you will always have to play check/fold turn.

      Agreed. Don't forget how pocket pairs work. They're very good hands to play preflop since they have a lot of potential, but when you flop an underpair both your equity in the pot and the playability of your hand are atrocious, so don't feel like you have to keep going with them. If it's a dry board turn them into a bluff by c-betting, if it's a wet board just cut your losses unless your opponent is a very loose folding station.
