      Maybe you can consider to ch/shove turn yourself to make sure you get an additional bet out of his perceived 99-QQ.
      If he happens to have AA or 88 (very unlikely) or 8x (unlikely), maybe 33 it's just a cooler.

      What did he have?

      I was following the same thought process you described trying to extract value from 99-QQ but this time he had AA :)

      with KK can´t really play any other way
      he would also take that line JJ/QQ so i like b/c turn
      don´t really like that board so often c/rai turn, since players check back too often on that boards
