So you're saying I should uninstall the program and install an older version or install another version of Windows. This is odd though because this isn't the first time I install Elephant on Windows XP and I bet most of the users have the same version of Windows. Thanks anyway.

I`m not sure that this bug fixed in v 0.90. This is compatibility issue between Elephant & Windows XP with AMD CPU. I sent the letter about this issue at elephant[at]pokerstrategy[dot]com.

      Hey stanisluv,

ist this error related to 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows XP?

If you say about PCs with AMD CPU then Win XP SP3 32bit, If you say about PC with Intel CPU then I don`t know. I just know that user had Intel CPU 2.80GHz & 1Gb RAM. So I think that he use 32-bit version too.

      Hi all,

the latest release v0.90 runs fine using Windows XP.
But in some occasions, in general when installing this version onto a freshly installed XP, without Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 previously installed, the MouseHookdll.dll located in the Elephants root directory can not be loaded and the Elephant won't start.

As a hotfix just download and install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (click) besides the already installed .NET Framework 4, while we're looking into the problem.

      Cheers,
      L

      Hi Larres,
One user try to use this workaround but he install .Net Framework 3.5(not SP1) & then install .Net 4. This workaroun failed.

      Hi stanisluv,

there is a bunch of changes implemented with the SP1, so please go ahead and try it using SP1 - that should work together with .NET Framework 4.

      Greetings,
      L
