      Personally i don't think the play was that bad, villain might had a flush draw, maybe a set by the way play went.

      Although why cbet almost potsize on that flop, i know you're looking for protection but i think 70c should be fine.

      Hi,

      potsize contibet on monochrome board is fine.
      When getting raised, I'd fold.
      Reasons: You could be drawing dead against flushes or nearly dead against sets. And versus 1-card FD with pair you are just flipping.
      => Against his range: You are a underdog, so fold.

      What did he have?

      I would likely b/c flop and decide on the turn if I want to c/rai on blank turn card
      If you see him raising flop with just flushdraws then shove flop is also fine
