      Who has the edge?
Does the hardcore on line player have the edge because of the volume of hands he sees?
They say the live players have the edge in casinos because they are used to the face to face...... I think that may be true for the first hour or so a on line player sits at a table, but once he settles in. Wont the on line player have the edge, i mean you have so much more feedback to go on. The players body language, his much more info then what we normally have on line.

Does anyone have any experience with this..... I cant wait to try casino poker now....i normally would of never dared to play, but now that i been playing on line....i think, no i know i will try in live!

Actually the live players should have the edge, it's their "territory". I'm talking about the regulars here, not the recreational players. The online players multi-table usually and may get bored while waiting for good spots, so they start making all kinds of mistakes.

I've watched PartyPoker's Big Game and PokerStars's Big Game recently and seen that on the Internet Players behaviour. If you're interested in live poker, I'd suggest reading the articles on the site first and watching these shows. The commentators have a good insight on the plays.

( I never played live casino games, so take my word as friendly advice, not experience-based )

I think that in a certain sense that online players have an edge because of the volume of games we play.

But to be honest a online player that isn't aware of live situations, tells etc
But a online player who plays live as well and has done it a few times and is used to it definatley has the edge in my opinion. I personally have played several times live and the first few times i got absolutley slaughtered because i wasn't as aware because all the information that i normally have infront of me wasnt there live. So really i suggest play live and practice at it, study it online as well before you go.

live players are so, so bad.

expect to raise big pre and still get multiple callers - when they raise postflop they usually have the nuts or close to it so you definitely cant get married to big pairs on the flop type thing. if they call it means they have cards so VALUEBET VALUEBET VALUEBET.

even the regulars lack so many fundamental skills its absurd. an online winning reg at any cash limit crushes any live 1/2 game.

just remember that its way harder to get a reasonable sample size playing live too.
