      often tight players like him will donk flop for value(such boards that are expected to be checked back often such as 2,4,7; 5,6,7 ; and so on basically somehow scary boards or boards which is unlikely you have anything)
      After you raise him I like checking back turn you can only get value from draws which i'd say are only flushdraws in his range,that being said he is often enough having flushdraw+1 overpair at least which makes it alot of equity versus your 2nd pair on the turn,you also give him super good odds to call.
      With his turn play he makes me thing he either has 44/22/77(77 goes down after the river) or Qx with the flushdraw.I'd fold on the turn besides the good odds you have to call.

      I´d prefer just to call him down
      When tight player leads there I doubt that 97 really beat that often his range that you should raise for value and protection
      I´d likely also check back turn to keep pot small and I don´t want to b/f hand that has showdown value
