      I just fold the flop. Yes it looks "weak", but we have no idea what that guy is up to and how hard he'll bet at us on later streets even if he happens to be bluffing and we have no real "outs" to speak of (an 8 makes a 4-straight and possibly a 3-flush, only 3 sevens give us the effective nuts) so since most of the deck is ugly for our hand on the turn and the river anyway. I usually cut my losses on the flop instead of playing guessing games with a marginal hand against unknowns.
