MP3 calls $0.50, CO folds, Hero raises to $2.50, SB calls $2.25, 2 folds.

      Flop: ($6.00) 6:heart: , 9:diamond: , 6:spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.20, SB calls $4.20.

      Turn: ($14.40) 9:heart: (2 players)

      River: ($14.40) 3:diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, SB calls $4.00.

      Final Pot: $22.40

My question here was about the river. What would be good valuebet amount, don't think I should check behind there? Check behind turn ok or should I (value)bet here too? Decided not to bet turn as I didn't want to see a check/raise by him there.

      Hi degnic!

Your check behind on the turn is fine because if you bet and get raised you would have to fold. Since your hand has showdown value you want to avoid this situation. After he checks to you I would bet half potsize on the river to get value from A high hands or smaller pocket pairs.

      Good luck at the tables!

OK your betting pattern preflop/flop would indicate to the other guy that you are perhaps LAG and have TPTK.

If you bet 1/2 pot on the turn, i think unless he was major calling station he would think that you'd made top FH and would fold.

of course depends a bit on table image but...?
