      villain is a tight looking reg: 16/10/3, 100 hands. We dont need to protect but we want to play for stacks obv, so I try to build the pot right away. Im thinking if villain folds on this board then he cant have very much anyway (since we cannot rep anything).
      We can check/beh and let him try to hit something, but then we miss a street of value when he does have a big hand and we'll have to overbet later most likely.

      any thoughts?

      I think generally bet is better since if he has there pp I wouldn´t really expect him to fold
      I would only bet 1.5$ to make me look a lot weaker and maybe he tries to c/r bluff on that board although mostly they are not never going to do that
      Although with quads and that board check behind is also fine and when he leads turn then small raise
