      Check/raising the river is the only thing you can do differently in that hand, and it certainly has merits. Villain can go ahead and bluff his busted spades, he can probably bet/call two pairs hand as well, and on that board it's really hard for him to actually call your bet with just one pair considering he probably doesn't have Jx or he wouldn't have checked back the flop.

      The only real problems with it are that you don't have the nuts, so if you get bet/3-bet into on the river by a range of Tx/QT which is really gross, and that villain possibly isn't good/aggressive enough to go ahead and bet two pairs hands on a 4-straight board, so you might loose value out of that.

      Without better reads it's quite the gamble really, I'm fine just leading out again and making sure we get some value out of whatever he wants to call with.
