no wonder there are no offers in my other thread!

      let's try another way!

Are there any plo8 regs? Do any of you feel like starting a little community here? Discussing hands, strategies... maybe start a study group!

oh, man! i feel so lonely... :(

      hi!
plo8 SNGs... have not tried them yet.
do you feel like expanding on that? platform, buyins, level, potential roi for a decent player, volume of players???

pretty certain there are a few. i was wondering more if there are any willing to share their experience with the game, socialize a bit.

      gl!

I play atm 11 bucks in FTP and 16 bucks in stars, have shoot them up to 38 dollar SNGs. There is really decent volume going during evening and night but in the morning the volume is really weak.

ROI for average grinders like me is smthing like 8-15 percent in the low limit games under 30 dollars. But there are few really exceptional players who have roi up to 20 percent in the bigger games.

I play PLO8 and NLO8 mainly cash, but also SNGs and MTTs on stars.

I might be interested in talking about strategy with players of similar level (i play PLO8 25-50 and NLO8 50-200, SNGs 16$.. 27$ ones almost never runs anyway). But i see some problems with this as PLO8 has so little traffic and therefore every time you share some strategy you basically give up your edge (if you believe you have one). That aint problem for holdem because you rarely end up on the same table, but here it is almost guaranteed to happen.

Today I shall be putting the final touches to part 1 of the PLO8 beginners guide, both in article and video form. Hopefully with the release of this, we might get some more players for the game. :f_biggrin:

Please to be releasing this :)

How about NLO8? Do you think a lot of the same principles apply?

Probably because it can be frustrating at times when shovefest begins :D

MP89EST, sorry for not replying sooner, i check this forum rarely. I am currently focusing on cash games, but if (more like "when" probably) i get back to SNGs, we could talk some strategy or make sweat sessions or something.

Not sure if i am happy about strategy articles tho :D I guess it is a good thing because traffic is an issue.
