      villain is 26/13/4, 48 hands wts 13.
I don't really want to lead on the flop as I don't think we need to protect and we are in bb so we actually can have 4x which makes it rather obvious. Same reasoning goes for if we raise villain's lead.

What can he lead with on the flop? I would say maybe {99-55, A7s, 87s, 65s, 45s}. when he barrels on the turn I think we mostly see {77, 87s, 65s, 45s} since he should fear I have 4x and so check behind medium strength hands. If that's true, we should not raise the turn as I did (at the time I just thought I was way ahead and needed to try to get the money in - mainly because I could not put villain on a hand that beat me).

once our raise is called, I think we could even think about chk/folding the River, on reflection? It's hard to see what villain can bet on the River that we beat. I think maybe I overplayed it a lot?

I think your play is fine
You can c/c flop and c/r turn, since I don´t think he barrels too often on the river with air and if he has pair he may easily b/c turn
On the river you´re pot committed so both c/c or b/c are fine
he may also play that way 4x himself or bluffshove smt like 98 although most of the times you´re beat, but you just get too good odds to b7c
