      Pre Flop: (€0.75) Hero has J:diamond: A:spade:

fold, fold, BTN raises to €1.50, Hero calls €1.25, fold

      Flop: (€3.50, 2 players) 9:spade: 8:heart: A:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets €2.50, Hero calls €2.50

      Turn: (€8.50, 2 players) 5:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets €6.00, Hero calls €6.00

      River: (€20.50, 2 players) 8:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets €11.00, Hero calls €11.00

I had 3B him several times before so I cold call his raise pre.
I decided to take the passive line C/C. Would C/R on the flop make sense here?
      Turn call is ok imo.
River: He 3rd barrel. In fact I beat only AT,A7,A6 and bluffs (and even Ax he would probably have Check behind). So River fold?

I like flop and turn as played. Fold river as he's so rarely bluffing and you obviously have an Ace, so he's saying "I have a better Ace that I bet for value".

I don't like chk/R flop since we end up either bluffing with the best hand or value towning ourselves against a better one.

I still think 3b pre may still be preferable. We never win much with AJo played passively oop and often face tough spots like this one. If we 3b, we can usually fold if he 4b or proceed with caution (but initiative) if we get called.

He is not really valuebetting there AT, so basically it is bluff or AJ+
I think I would still call him down because of you previous history where you had 3-bet him a lot and now he decides to 3-barrel with any 2 cards
