Hey guys.. this would be my first post for this thread.. had the QQ, so I 3bet preflop with a rather lose raiser on CO.

got an overpair with OESD on the flop so i value bet around (1/3) pot..

on the turn.. i got my straight.. i value bet again at (1/2) pot.. and went all in after a reraise..

im ahead with queen high straight..

but got sucked out on the river..

i would like to know if this is just a case of being sucked out or could have i done better? maybe especially with my betting/bet sizing?

all help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!

What strategy you playing? If you play BSS then add to full stack.

Flop: Cbet bigger, $1+. Don't know why you even betting so weak, any reason for that? You have to protect and also get maxium value.
Turn: If ya'd bet bigger on flop you could easily shove here, otherwise Bet/Call is standard play here, you can't fold the hand.

      Best regards,

      wow.. quick reply.. cool!.. .

this forum is really helpful in fixing my leaks.. :D

.. actually i'm playing BSS, reason why stacks don't seem to be full because i played on a shallow table where max buy in is $2 for nl5..

i bet small usually coz i felt people are not calling me that often when i c-bet.. but i guess big mistake here since its a wet flop..

Try to avoid shallow tables if you're playing BSS. BSS assumes you are using a 100bb stack, not a 40bb one.
