      I guess you can also fold pf, but if he had 3-bet quite a lot then call is also fine
      I´d likely just raise flop for value. he isn´t really going to bet/shove there 56 and likely also not his stronger draws like QJ or J8 or smt like that.
      So hands that he is shoving/3-betting has likely against your hand at least 50% equity or has you crushed (sets, overpairs). you can´t call likely Q, K, A turn where he is barreling most of his range that you beat and sometimes check hands that beat you. Also he can do that for value. You can´t call club turn and even if it is blank you´re always hoping he is barreling with draws and not his made hands.
      You can play the way you did, but I think I would likely just fold turn if I take that line. Even on blank river card he can barrel with missed draws/total bluffs and likely you can´t call him down profitable
