SB posts SB €0.25, BB posts BB €0.50

      Pre Flop: (€0.75) Hero has 8:club: 8:diamond:

UTG raises to €1.75, Hero calls €1.75, fold, fold, fold

      Flop: (€4.25, 2 players) K:heart: 4:club: 4:spade:

Rather than C behind and C/C the river should I B/F the turn instead?
If he has a K he will call the turn and C behind on the river in which case I get a free showdown.

      b/f turn seems reasonable
You´re mostly going to call anyway his half potsize bet on blank river, so you can also bet yourself to get value from lower pp-s and protect smt like AQ/QJ/JT that would very likely c/f turn
