J8s is generally too weak to flat there against very tight players unless you're fairly confident you can abuse them postflop one way or the other. Since he doesn't look like he's stealing much either, you should probably just not 3-bet either and fold when in doubt.

As played on the flop check/calling is fine especially if you believe he's c-betting there 3/4 pot even with hands like 88-QQ that won't be able to stand action on the latter streets. Against some players you can check/raise and call it off but it's not necessary in that spot imo.

I would bet the turn, he will show us with stuff like QQ/AA/AQ with a heart, Kx sometimes, and while he's not happy seeing the flushdraw getting there, that doesn't mean he's ready to fold yet, so just bet and get value.

As played bet the river as well, if he thinks hard enough he can put you on stuff like counterfeited small pairs and still call a bet, if he's not thinking he's going to call anyway for no reason. If you give him credit for checking a boat to you on the river again checking back is fine, but most people will just lead the river with that after you check back the turn.

      Hope it helps.
