Raise more PF ($1.25). Lead flop for 3/4 PSB and bet turn only if you like variance (providing this villain is capable of folding a 9 or J.)

To play these over-aggro villains OOP you usually need a slightly better hand than your 3rd pair unless villain is really bad . You c-bet and then go into check call mode. Some really bad villains will even value-bet with smallish bets and bluff with biggish bets.

I would never do this readless.

      Hi rubysilesia!

If you raise preflop (which I would not recommend oop against an over-aggressive player) you should raise more. A check/raise doesn't make sense without a hand against an aggressive opponent because he will often call with a flush draw or J or 9. The turn card could be a scare card so it might work out (not this time). Since he called the river bet you have to assume that villain has a flush so I think a blockbet (~$7) would be fine. If he raises you: fold. Normally check/fold flop would be the best. Don't try to bluff aggressive opponents. Wait until you have a hand and let them pay.

      Good luck at the tables!
