      $0.1/$0.25 Pot-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BB = ($10.99)
      UTG1 = ($25.00)
      UTG2 = ($13.27)
      MP1 = ($29.94)
      MP2 = ($17.35)
      MP3 = ($27.98)
      CO (Hero) = ($20.10)
      BU = ($27.05)
      SB = ($8.55)

      Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 :heart: , 9 :diamond: .
      5 folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, BB calls $0.60.

      Flop: ($1.8) J :spade: , Q :club: , 6 :heart: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00.

      Turn: ($3.8) 9 :spade: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero bets $2.00, BB calls $2.00.

      River: ($7.8) 2 :heart: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero bets $7.42, BB calls $7.14.

      Final Pot: $22.36.

      Was just wondering if it was the right play?
      wanted him to think im bluffing.

      I'd be looking to make the turn 2.6-2.8. This way the river pot is arond 9 and you are betting 2/3 pot again on the river.

      the river bet as played is good imo. You're definitely wanting his remaining stack in and if he's calling 5 he's probably calling 7

      I don't like c-betting on these boards but ok.

      On the turn definitely make it waaaaaay bigger, not for just one reason. I don't know what you're thinking here.: "NUTS! must... get... value... can't make it too big???" bs line. Barrel at least $3. He's never folding KQ, QJ, QT, JT etc. Get value... and set yourself up to shove the river... now you bet turn 1/2 to then pot the river. Kind of shitty line. The extra calls you might get from hands that call a $2 en fold to $3 bet can never ever ever make it up for the value you lose from hands that are calling you anyway. If there are any hands in his range at all that call $2 but not $3, I doubt it.

      Flop & turn are always the 2 best streets to get value on because of possible draws that might pay you. On these river people either have it or they don't.

      I'm confused here. Did you specifically design your turn- and river sizings to make it appear that you were bluffing? If he called you with a Jack you know it worked, if you were somehow beat you were getting stakced anyway. So I don't really get the question here.

      In general you should make it a bit bigger on the turn (FWIW I think it matters less than Mstlc is making it out to be, but it still matters).

      I´d also bet turn 3$ and then shove river for value
      he would call you down with Qx hand and maybe also smt like JT

      falcone1983 said exaclty what i was thinking....after i bet the flop and hit the turn, i wanted him to think that i was bluffing the turn so that he raises...but he called...

      So i continued to play it like im a nit whos trying to bluff... he called with kj...

      otherwise i usually bet 2/3rds itself...
