Dans les variantes de poker<\/a> utilisant des cartes communes<\/a>, comme le Texas Hold'em<\/a> et l'Omaha<\/a>, la quatrième carte (et la séquence de mise qui l'accompagne) est appellée le turn<\/a>, ou 4th street<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n\n\n

La quatrième carte d'un joueur de Seve Card Stud est également appellée Turn<\/a> ou 4th Street<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>

Évaluation de la carte du turn<\/a> au Texas Hold'em<\/a> et en Omaha<\/a><\/b><\/h2>

Une carte du turn<\/a> est considérée comme un blank<\/a> lorsqu'il est peu probable qu'elle ait aidé un des joueurs, c'est à dire que ce n'est ni une carte élevée, ni une carte complétant un <\/a>tirage<\/a>, ni une carte qui, d'une manière ou d'un autre s'harmonise avec une partie du flop<\/a> ou l'éventail de main<\/a> d'un adversaire. Par exemple, si la carte du turn<\/a> est un 2 lorsque le tableau<\/a> est rainbow et composé de cartes hautes, c'est un blank<\/a>.
Une carte du turn<\/a> est considérée comme Scarecard (carte qui fait peur) quand, contrairement au blank<\/a>, elle a vraisemblablement aidé un des joueurs. Une scarecard est par exemple la troisième carte d'une même <\/a>couleur<\/a>, ou bien un As après un flop<\/a> peu menaçant. Elle est appellée ainsi car elle a un effet intimidant et peut être utilisée plus aisément pour un bluff<\/a> qu'un blank<\/a>, car il est bien plus aisé de faire croire que cette carte nous a donné la meilleure main<\/a>.<\/p>
