Dans les variantes avec cartes communes<\/a>, on désigne par \"idiot end\" (le bout idiot) les cartes qui se trouvent à l'extrémité inférieure d'une quinte<\/a>. On utilise ce terme du fait que la quinte<\/a> est vulnérable et peut facilement être battue par une meilleure quinte<\/a>. C'est tout particulièrement le cas lorsque les cartes communes<\/a> contiennent quatre des cartes de la quinte<\/a> et qu'un joueur possède la plus petite carte complétant la combinaison. Il faudrait tout simplement être idiot pour croire qu'on a encore la meilleure main<\/a> en cas de riposte adverse.

Dans l'exemple, le joueur possède certes une quinte<\/a> de l'As au 5, mais il est battu pas un 6 et partage le pot<\/a> avec un autre As. Il a une idiot end.<\/p>
