Un blocker<\/a> est une carte qui permettrait à un joueur de compléter son <\/a>tirage<\/a>, mais qui appartient déjà à la main<\/a> adverse. <\/p>

Les deux joueurs ont un gutshot<\/a>. Le joueur A a besoin d'un 7 et le joueur B d'un 6 afin de compléter la quinte<\/a> 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Chacun des joueurs possède l'une des cartes qui permettrait à l'autre joueur de toucher sa quinte<\/a>. Le joueur A possède un 6, le joueur B un 7, qui ne peuvent donc plus être distribués. Ce sont des blockers. Ce ne sont plus quatre 6 et 7 mais trois qui peuvent encore être distribués. Les chances des deux joueurs de toucher leur quinte<\/a> s'en trouvent donc diminuées.<\/p>
