Un tirage backdoor<\/a> ou runner-runner<\/a> est un <\/a>tirage<\/a> qui a besoin de deux cartes au lieu d'une seule pour se matérialiser. Si la combinaison d'un joueur contient par exemple 3 trèfles, alors il a un tirage couleur<\/a> backdoor à trèfle. Il a en effet besoin de deux trèfles supplémentaires pour toucher sa <\/a>couleur<\/a>, à savoir cinq cartes à trèfle. <\/p>

Dans cet exemple le joueur possède un tirage couleur<\/a> backdoor et un <\/a>tirage<\/a> quinte<\/a> backdoor. Si le turn<\/a> apporte un trèfle, il obtient alors un tirage couleur<\/a> standard, si le turn<\/a> apporte un 4, un 6 ou un 9, alors il obtient un tirage quinte bilatéral<\/a> ou un gutshot<\/a>. <\/p>

La force d'un tirage backdoor<\/a> est relativement limitée, même si elle peut être décisive dans des situations très serrées. La probabilité de toucher une <\/a>couleur<\/a> grâce aux deux cartes suivantes à partir de trois cartes <\/a>assorties<\/a> est d'environ 4.2%. Dans notre exemple, le joueur obtiendra un 6 et donc un tirage quinte bilatéral<\/a> au turn<\/a> dans 8.5% des cas, et un 4 ou un 9 et donc un gutshot<\/a> dans 17%b des cas. Au total, la probabilité qu'il touche au final une quinte<\/a> sur la river<\/a> est de 3%.<\/p>
