\nOn peut d'ores et déjà
\naffirmer que le Grand Prix de Paris a tenu ses promesses. Une belle
\nstructure (20.000 jetons au départ) et un Aviation Club de
\nFrance remis à neuf (nouvelle déco très
\ntendance) ont en effet attiré près de 140 joueurs dont
\npas mal de grands noms du poker français et international.\n<\/p>

\nLe jour 1A a vu se croiser les compères
\nEric Koskas et Anthony Lellouche, dont l'aventure parisienne n'aura
\npas connu les succès de l'EPT San Remo, puisqu'ils ont chuté
\ntous les deux à l'issue de ce premer jour. Il en a été
\nde même pour Vikash Dhorasoo. Egalement présents ce
\npremier jour : Paul Testud, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Nicolas
\nLevi, et bien d'autres... Le jour 1B a aussi montré quelques
\ntables d'un niveau assez impressionnant. Les veinards qui ont pu
\nfaire le déplacement à l'ACF ont eu l'occasion d'y
\ncroiser Isabelle Mercier et Freddy Deeb, qui était venu faire
\nhonneur au tournoi phare de son grand ami Bruno Fitoussi. Côté
\nfrançais, il y avait ce jour là Eric Larcheveque
\n(huitième place à l'Irish Open), Cyril Bensoussan,
\nDavid Alimi, etc...\n<\/p>

\n\t\t\tElky fait son show <\/b>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>

<\/p>

\nMais c'est ElkY qui a fortement
\nimpressionné par le niveau de son jeu et l'agressivité
\navec laquelle il a géré tout le tournoi. Chip-leader
\nincontesté lors de la composition de la table finale (639.000
\njetons), les commentateurs ne donnaient pas très cher de la
\npeau de ses adversaires. Même si à ce stade, il n'était
\npas vraiment confronté à des débutants. Mickael
\nSebban, Franck Kalfon, Nasrodin Pirmanod, Cedric Seguin
\n(short-stack), Ryad Abour et Roger Hairabedian n'étaient pas
\nvenus là pour faire de la figuration. En plus de ces sept
\nprétendants locaux, il y avait deux internationaux : Janne
\nLamsa (Finlande) et Talal Shakerchi (Royaume-Uni), le Canadien Will
\nMa ayant pour sa part du se contenter de la dixième place
\n(19.665 EUR)\n<\/p>

\nElkY aborda la finale en véritable
\nmaniaque et, petite anecdote, les premiers éliminés
\nl'ont été tellement vite que les organisateurs ont dû
\ninterrompre la finale pour qu'il ait encore quelque chose à
\nvoir lors du direct sur Eurosport qui ne commençait qu'après
\nminuit. S'il y a bien eu quatre victimes en quelques mains, on
\ncomprend pourquoi quand on voit les cartes qui sont tombées :
\nnous avons eu droit à un festival de grosses paires, pour ne
\npas dire un feu d'artifice. Après Cédric Seguin, qui
\nn'avait pas assez de jetons pour représenter une vraie menace,
\nFranck Kalfon fut le premier à en faire les frais. Constamment
\nrelancé par ElkY, il décide d'opposer une résistance
\navec AJ au plus mauvais moment (Bertrand avait les As). Kalfon part
\ndéçu mais plus riche de 39.330 EUR. Juste après,
\nJanne Lamsa envoie son tapis avec AQ, alors que c'est Mickael Sebban
\nqui a les pocket-rockets. Il prend la septième place et 52.440
\nEUR. A noter la lucidité de Shakerchi qui a eu la sagesse de
\ncoucher sa paire de Valets... Main suivante, ElkY tombe dans le piège
\nde Pirmanod qui tient KK contre AQ. Mais coup de chance, une Dame et
\nun As sur le tableau viennent bouleverser la logique des cotes et
\nc'est Pirmanod qui quitte la table (65.550 EUR)...\n<\/p>

\nAprès ces dix minutes de folie
\npure, le jeu se ralentit quelque peu, et les maniaques décidèrent
\nde lever le pied. Il n'y eut plus d'élimination pendant un bon
\nmoment, et la chaîne Eurosport décida de récompenser
\nle spectateur du poker avec une heure de télé-achat...
\nAu terme de cette interruption stupide, l'excès de confiance
\nde ElkY lui fut fatale. La cinquième place lui rapporte tout
\nde même 78.660 EUR. Quatrième, Ryad Abour, dont le
\nnon-jeu aura quand même été assez payant (104.880
\nEUR). L'anglais Talal Shakerchi, qui a montré lors de cette
\nfinale une grande maîtrise du Hold'em No Limit prend la
\ntroisième place (157.320 EUR). Mais c'est finalement le jeu
\ntrès solide du pittoresque Roger Hairabedian qui aura eu
\nraison de l'hyper-activité du jeune Mickael Sebban. Le jeu en
\nvalait d'aileurs la chandelle, car si la deuxième place
\nrapportait 222.870 EUR, c'est le premier prix qui fait véritablement
\nrêver : 419.520 EUR... Bravo Roger!\n<\/p>
