Jean-Philipe Rohr : le poker est ma passion, pas mon métier. Je travaille tous les jours. C'est vrai que cette victoire est extraordinaire mais elle est arrivée à sept heures du matin et je ne peux pas me le permettre tous les jours. Néanmoins, c'est toujours un plaisir de participer et de briller dans un tel tournoi.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>avez-vous une préparation particulière pour ces tournois online ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : pas vraiment. Autant en live, je me prépare vraiment sérieusement, autant online, je joue de façon très détendue. Je suis à la maison, dans la cuisine avec ma femme en train de prendre l'apéritif. La télé est allumée, je me chamaille un peu avec mon fils. C'est un pur moment de détente. Mais il est vrai qu'à partir de 23 h 30, je me suis retrouvé seul et là je suis sérieusement rentré dans le tournoi. Mes enfants et ma femme étaient au lit et j'ai pu me focaliser sur mon jeu.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>certains moments ont certainement été plus difficiles que d'autres à gérer. N'avez-vous jamais ressenti le besoin de vous isoler ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : je pense que j'étais dans le Top 20 dès le début de la deuxième heure, et par la suite tout s'est bien passé. J'ai souvent été chipleader et naturellement la concentration est venue. Je me suis dit qu'il y avait un bon coup à jouer. Pourtant il est rare que je joue au poker après minuit, car j'ai souvent des rendez-vous le lendemain. C'est la raison pour laquelle quand je participe à ce genre de tournois, je ne suis pas au top de ma concentration. C'est quelque chose qui ne m'arrive jamais en live. Mais là, j'ai senti quelque chose de particulier. Je me sentais bien physiquement. Je n'ai pas eu de coup de barre et c'est essentiel.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>le fait d'avoir joué à domicile a-t-il été un avantage ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : oui, j'étais à l'aise. Je pense avoir pratiqué un bon poker. De nombreux jeunes qui regardaient le tournoi ont trouvé que j'avais vraiment bien joué.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com<\/strong> : <\/strong>parmi vos adversaires, quels sont ceux que vous connaissiez ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : aucun excepté Guillaume Darcourt que j'ai eu à ma table dès le début. Nous nous sommes un peu chambrés et je lui ai dit : \"attention je suis bien ce soir.\" Mais sinon, personne. Je ne connais pas vraiment les pros online. Je me souviens d'un petit jeune à la table finale vraiment fort. Il m'a impressionné. Notamment sur un coup où un joueur raise UTG puis un autre call UTG +2. Il call en milieu de parole et moi avec K-6, je squeeze. Là tout le monde fold et lui me call. Il avait les As. Là je me suis dit que je devais faire attention d'autant que d'entrée de jeu il m'a pris un gros pot. Quand il a sauté, ça m'a soulagé.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>comment s'est déroulé le deal à trois joueurs ?<\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr<\/strong> : pour moi, tout a été vraiment compliqué. D'autant que mon logiciel est en anglais et que j'avais du mal à comprendre. Au départ le deal devait se faire à quatre, mais l'un des joueurs ne voulait pas. Finalement il a sauté. Puis à trois cela s'est éternisé avant que l'on trouve un terrain d'entente. Pendant ce temps je reçois un message sur Facebook où l'on m'accuse de voler les blindes. Je ne parvenais déjà pas à m'en sortir avec le deal donc à sept heures du matin j'ai appelé un petit jeune qui joue sur PMU, Loris Courco, pour qu'il m'aide. J'étais ok pour le deal depuis le début et ça s'est enfin débloqué.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>jusqu'à présent, vous étiez plutôt gagnant ou perdant online ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : sincèrement, je dois être en équilibre.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: <\/strong>vous jouez également en cash game ?<\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr<\/strong> : un petit peu sur PMU.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>votre programme poker pour la suite ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : le WPT National Series de Cannes, Las Vegas, Barcelone et ensuite les EPT. Mais surtout Las Vegas.<\/strong><\/p>

PokerStrategy.com : <\/strong>et online ?

Jean-Philipe Rohr<\/strong> : je vais essayer de faire un maximum de tournois sur PMU afin de me préparer au mieux pour Las Vegas.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: <\/strong>avez-vous des objectifs particuliers pour cette année ?<\/strong><\/p>

Jean-Philipe Rohr : non, je joue au jour le jour. Ou peut-être un. Toujours essayer de gagner. Dans tous les tournois auxquels je participe, j'y vais pour gagner. Comme on dit au football, match après match.<\/strong><\/p>
