Un accord a été trouvé entre PokerStars et le United States Department of Justice (DOJ) ce qui va permettre à PokerStars de prendre le contrôle des actifs de Full Tilt Poker. Dans le cadre de cet accord, PokerStars va rembourser directement tous les titulaires de compte Full Tilt résidant en dehors des Etats-Unis.<\/p>

Selon le communiqué de presse de la société, PokerStars paiera aux Etats-Unis 547 millions de dollars sur 3 ans, dont une partie sera utilisée pour rembourser les clients américains de Full Tilt.<\/p>

Un autre compte d'environ 184 millions de dollars sera ouvert pour rembourser les clients non-américains. Il n'y aura pas de restrictions sur les retraits et ce compte sera créé sous 90 jours.<\/p>

L'impact sur les charges contre PokerStars<\/h2>

PokerStars n'a pas plaidé coupable lors de ses négociations avec le DOJ. <\/p>

L'accord interdit à PokerStars d'employer les anciens membres du management de Full Tilt Raymond Bitar, Howard Lederer, Rafe Furst, Chris Ferguson, et Nelson Burtnick.<\/p>

Selon Diamond Flush Poker<\/a>, les plaintes civiles contre les sociétés de PokerStars seront abandonnées dans le cadre de cet accord, mais les charges criminelles seront maintenues.<\/p>

De plus, l'accord permet à PokerStars et Full Tilt Poker de réclamer une licence de jeux aux Etats-Unis quand la situation légale le permettra.<\/p>

Full Tilt va réouvrir<\/h2>

Rapport au futur de Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars envisage de relancer Full Tilt en tant que marque indépendante de PokerStars. Une nouvelle équipe managériale sera nommée à sa tête. <\/p>

Full Tilt continuera à être basée à Dublin mais ses activités seront supervisées depuis l'Ile de Man.<\/p>

Eric Hollreiser, responsable communication chez PokerStars, a déclaré sur le blog de la société \"il est trop tôt pour commencer à discuter en détail de la stratégie autour de Full Tilt mais notre premier chantier est de réouvrir le site, rembourser tous les joueurs et commencer à reconstruire la réputation de Full Tilt. A l'avenir, Full Tilt sera gérée comme une marque à part entière qui donnera aux joueurs une autre plateforme leader pour jouer au poker. Le nouveau site Full Tilt comportera des nouveautés ainsi que le logiciel toujours à la pointe qui a su séduire des millions de joueurs dans le monde.\"<\/p>
