Nous avons pu rencontrer un Fabrice<\/strong> abattu, un Fabrice <\/strong>malchanceux, un Fabrice<\/strong> dépité. Comme l'aurait chanté Mort Schuman<\/strong> \"Allô Papa Tango Charlie<\/strong>\", comme pour communiquer avec un endroit perdu, où la chance n'existerait plus. En cette journée de tournoi, nous avons observé la solitude du champion, le questionnement du joueur et les doutes d'un homme.<\/p>

Jouer sans même faire une paire, c'est très difficile<\/span> <\/h2>

Nous avons décidé d'observer Fabrice<\/strong> au plus près, lors de ce heads-up <\/strong>de l'Event Shootout <\/strong>de la journée, tournoi qui consiste à éliminer tous ses adversaires à une seule et même table avant de passer au \"second niveau\".<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Fabrice est patient, minutieux mais on sent en lui une certaine nervosité. Celle du joueur qui depuis plusieurs jours n'arrive pas à voir le bout du tunnel.<\/p>\n

Écharpe qui masque le visage, il vient de piéger son adversaire en touchant brelan river, le joueur l'affrontant étant dépité avec deux paires flopées. Pourtant on arrive à voir encore des doutes sur les traits du visage de Fabsoul<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ce grand champion n'en est pas à sa première campagne à Vegas, mais il cherche sans cesse la perfection, avec pour pire ennemi la défaite. Cette défaite qui souvent blesse mais n'abat pas.<\/em><\/p>\n

A deux mètres du compétiteur Soulier <\/strong>on est comme hypnotisé par sa gestuelle, les mouvements étant calibrés, comme un musicien réglant son violon ou un horloger cherchant à maîtriser le temps.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ce n'est pas un grand champion face à Fabsoul<\/strong>, pourtant il lui donne du fil à retordre, il percute les flops et laisse parfois Fabrice <\/strong>seul face à la solitude du joueur désemparé...<\/em><\/p>\n

Fabrice <\/strong>ne gagne pas un coup, il cherche, s'énerve, avoue que jouer sans même faire une paire c'est très difficile.<\/em><\/p>\n

3 semaines de cauchemars plus tard, avec K-K en main Fabrice<\/strong> perd encore le combat contre QT qui frappe deux paires et rejoint le rail, l'âme en berne...\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

En sortant du RIO<\/strong>, nous nous sommes encore demandés ce qui parfois empêche un grand champion d'avancer, ce qui le freine alors qu'à l'habitude, il profite de la moindre situation pour vaincre et gagner des titres. Il n'existe pas de réponse \"figée\", pas de solution quand on traverse un désert de cartes, quand la chance nous quitte. Mais rassurons-nous, elle revient toujours à un moment ou un autre pour faire à nouveau briller le champion et l'irradier de lumière.<\/p>\n
