Nul n'a jamais douté de la volonté de Philippe Ktorza, tant parfois il a pu démontrer que l'envie peut déplacer des montagnes, que David peut battre Goliath et que le poker est aussi fait de panache. Rencontre avec un homme sans langue de bois, vrai, intense et qui rêve de bracelet.<\/p>

\"\" <\/span>PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: <\/span>Bonjour Philippe, dans un peu plus d'un mois, tu nous rejoindras à Las Vegas pour jouer les WSOP. Impatient ? Excité ?<\/p>\n

Philippe Ktorza<\/strong> : <\/span>Bonjour Fabien, évidement que je suis impatient, c’est le grand rendez-vous de l’année, Las Vegas, pour un joueur de poker c’est un peu notre coupe du monde de football, un festival de plus d’un mois, où l’on rencontre toute la planète poker, d’illustres inconnus aux grands champions. Pour tout te dire je compte les jours, je serai là-bas à partir du 11 juin jusqu’ au 15 juillet, tout le monde sait combien j'aime cette ville, je m'y sens bien. Alors oui je suis tout excité comme un enfant qui attend le jour de Noël pour ouvrir ses cadeaux, je suis encore un enfant et j’ai les yeux qui brillent quand j’arrive dans cette ville, Las Vegas et le poker que demander de mieux ?<\/p>\n

\"\" PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: Quel sera cet été ton programme à Vegas ? Tu as déjà préparé quelque chose ? Tu joueras au feeling ? Tu joueras uniquement les WSOP ou également au Venetian ?<\/p>\n

Philippe Ktorza<\/strong> : J’ai évidemment regardé le programme et je sais déjà que je vais commencer par le 2.500$ prévu le 13 juin, je me suis accordé une journée de repos pour me remettre du décalage horaire et ne pas commencer trop fatigué. Ensuite tout dépendra de mes résultats dans chaque tournoi, j’ai prévu d’en faire beaucoup, d’enchaîner les tournois selon le programme. Je vais essentiellement me consacrer aux WSOP, les deepstack qui se dérouleront ailleurs ne sont pas prévus pour le moment. J’ai le même rêve que tous les joueurs de poker, faire une table finale et remporter un bracelet, donc WSOP à fond ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

\"\" PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: Quels sont tes objectifs et ambitions en 2014 sur les terres américaines ?<\/p>\n

Philippe Ktorza<\/strong> : Tout le monde sait que les terres américaines m’ont déjà réussi, je n’oublierai jamais ma finale au WPT Championship. Je pars cette année avec beaucoup d’ambition, j’ai le sentiment (j’espère ne pas me tromper) que je vais y faire un truc. J’ai quelques lignes Hendon Mob mais rien de très intéressant, des deeprun très peu significatifs, alors cette année c’est décidé, c’est minimum TF. C’est un long parcours, un vrai parcours du combattant, où les tournois s’enchaînent, il faut être prêt mentalement et physiquement, ne pas se laisser tenter par tous les à côtés de Vegas. C’est le prix à payer pour réussir, ne se concentrer que sur son poker sans faire de folie, mais je l'avoue c’est difficile.<\/p>\n

\"\" PokerStrategy.com <\/strong>: Après la fin de ta collaboration avec PMU, envisages-tu les WSOP de manière différente ?<\/p>\n

Philippe Ktorza<\/strong> : La fin de mon aventure avec PMU même si elle s’est arrêtée prématurément, j’en garde d’énormes souvenirs, j’ai vécu 4 ans magnifiques, et je n'oublierai jamais toute cette équipe, Staff,  joueurs qui m’ont accompagné et m’ont permis d’assouvir ma passion de la plus belle des manières. C’est une page qui se tourne, comme il y en a beaucoup dans la vie. Est-ce que cela va changer mon approche pour les WSOP ? Franchement non, je les jouerai de la même manière avec tout le sérieux et l’envie de gagner qui me caractérise, j’essayerai de partager avec les gens qui me suivent tout ce que je ressens, leur faire profiter de mon expérience et la transcrire à l'aide d 'articles ou du petit journal de Vegas que j 'écrirai selon mon humeur et mes émotions.<\/p>\n

Partager avec les autres est quelque chose qui me plaît, alors si je pouvais partager avec mes followers une belle victoire, je ne vais pas m'en priver. J’espère sincèrement que le poker français va être dignement représenté, et souhaite à ElkY en particulier une belle réussite, lui qui est en « bad run » depuis un bout de temps, et nous savons tous que c’est une période difficile. <\/p>\n
