\nLa saison 2009 du Haertland Poker Tour a débuté le 8 février. Le casino Downstream de Quapaw en Oklahoma s'est révélé être un hôte parfait pour un évènement tel que celui-là et a enregistré un nombre record de joueurs :\n

\"Nous avons vu que les citoyens d'Oklahoma, d'Arkansas, du Missouri, du Kansas et du Texas prennent le poker très à coeur. Nous ne sommes jamais venus dans cette zone, nous n'étions donc pas certain du succès. Avoir plus de 450 joueurs est complètement incroyable pour une première édition<\/i>\", a déclaré le co-fondateur du HPT Todd Anderson.<\/p>\n

L'homme qui a vaincu tous ses adversaires dans cet évènement à 1.000$ de buy-in est Sean Saninikone, ouvrier, qui est reparti avec 127.404$ en prix. Sa victoire fut plus que méritée lors de la plus longue table finale de l'histoire du HPT. La table finale a été filmée et sera diffusée lors des 99ème et 100ème épisodes du show de l'évènement.<\/p>\n
