\n\"WSOPE\"Le programme et les dates officielles du troisième WSOP Europe viennent d'être annoncés. La série de tournois débutera le 17 septembre et s'achèvera le 1er octobre lors de la finale du Main Event. Cette année, c'est le célèbre casino Londonien \"Casino at the Empire\" qui accueillera l'événement tant attendu des joueurs européens.\n

Michael Silberling, le directeur général du \"London Clubs International\" s'est empressé de commenter cette annonce :<\/p>\n

\"Le Casino at the Empire est très vite devenu le lieu de référence du poker au Royaume-Uni. Nous sommes impatients d'accueillir les meilleurs joueurs mondiaux lors de l'événement cet automne et d'ici là, nous allons continuer à offrir les meilleures conditions de jeu aux joueurs locaux.<\/i>\"<\/p>\n

Cette année, 4 événements sont au programme et la course aux bracelets va attirer une fois de plus les grands noms. L'organisateur a donc ajouté un tournoi mixte à 2.500£ (env. 3.700 euros), qui se jouera en Pot Limit Hold'em\/Pot Limit Omaha et qui débutera le 21 septembre.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Pollack se réjouit de l'apparition d'un 4ème Event lors des WSOP-Europe 2009 :<\/p>\n

\"Remporter un bracelet est reconnu comme le titre suprême et nous sommes très excités à l'idée de couronner 4 nouveaux champions au Casino Empire cette année.<\/i>\"<\/p>\n

Les pré-inscriptions sont d'ores et déjà disponibles dans tous les établissements du groupe Londonien L.C.I ou au Rio Hotel et Casino à Las Vegas.  Il sera également possible de s'inscrire à cet événement lors des WSOP qui se tiendront du 26 mai au 15 juillet prochain à Las Vegas.\n<\/p><\/div>

\n  LA TERRE DES CHAMPIONS <\/span>

\nL'événement a pris de l'ampleur depuis sa création, et les WSOP Europe ont accueilli des joueurs comme Doyle Brunson, Barry Greenstein, Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Patrik Antonius, Scotty Nguyen, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, John Juanda, Eric Seidel, Mike Matusow, Vanessa Rousso et la liste est encore longue.

\nLors de la dernière édition en automne dernier, c'est John Juanda qui a remporté le titre de champion lors du Main Event, après avoir fait face à des joueurs de rang mondial en table finale. Daniel Negreanu (5ème), Scott Fischman (6ème) et Ivan Demidov (3ème) ont chacun effectué une performance notable, mais Juanda a pris le dessus après 21 heures de jeu, repartant avec 868.800£ et un bracelet WSOP supplémentaire.\n

Le groupe ESPN couvrira l'événement dans le cadre d'un partenariat exclusif et les téléspectateurs pourront profiter de 10h de jeu. L'événement sera diffusé aux Etats Unis, en Europe et en Amérique latine sur ESPN360.com.<\/p>\n
