Le PokerStars<\/a> Asia Pacific Tour vient de dépasser ses prévisions les plus optimistes, limitant au départ le
\ntournoi à 300 personnes. Le nombre record de participants a permis de générer un prizepool de plus de 600.000$, dont 158.000$ iront au vainqueur du tournoi.<\/p>

De nombreux joueurs de poker habitant la région ont décidé de faire le déplacement, notamment le champion WPT Nam Le. Les PokerStars pro Tony Hachem, Eric Assadourian, Daniel Schreiber, Jonathan Lin, Tae Jun Noh et Celina Lin se sont également inscrits au tournoi.<\/p>

Les PokerStratèges Justin\"yoghi\" Tazelaar et Vladimir \"beyne\" Geshkenbeim (joueur qui a éliminé Johnny Chan en finale de l'APPT Macau High Roller<\/a>) étaient aussi en course pour la victoire. Beyne a été éliminé pendant le Day 1B mais Yoghi est toujours en lice.<\/p>
