Elle leur permettra d'acqu&eacute;rir une solide compr&eacute;hension de base des diff&eacute;rents aspects du jeu dans cette variante.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Le Pot Limit Omaha Hi\/Lo est une variante \"high\/low split\" du&nbsp;Pot Limit Omaha.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Chaque joueur re&ccedil;oit 4 cartes privatives et partage 5 cartes communes avec ses adversaires. Les tours d'ench&egrave;res, au nombre de quatre, sont suivis d'un abattage. En Pot Limit, les joueurs ne peuvent jamais relancer davantage que le montant du pot au moment o&ugrave; ils parlent.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Chaque joueur forme la meilleure main de poker possible &agrave; partir de cinq cartes, deux de ses quatre cartes privatives et&nbsp;trois des cinq cartes communes. Toujours &agrave; partir de leur main de d&eacute;part et de trois cartes communes, les joueurs essaient ensuite d'obtenir la meilleure combinaison comptant comme une main basse, encore appel&eacute;e main low (de l'anglais \"lo-hand\" ou \"low-hand\"). Si aucune main ne se qualifie en tant que main low, c'est la meilleure main high qui remporte le pot. Dans le cas o&ugrave; une main low peut effectivement &ecirc;tre form&eacute;e par au moins un des joueurs, le pot est partag&eacute; entre la meilleure main high (\"hi-hand\") et la meilleure main low.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Pour &ecirc;tre valide, une main low doit se composer de 5 cartes, toutes inf&eacute;rieures ou &eacute;gales au 8, et de rangs diff&eacute;rents (les paires sont exclues). Plus les cartes qui la forment sont basses, plus la main low est forte. La meilleure main low possible est A2345, la plus mauvaise 45678. Les quintes et les couleurs ne jouent aucun r&ocirc;le pour la main low. Une fa&ccedil;on assez simple d'identifier la main la plus basse, et donc la meilleure main low, est de classer les cartes dans l'ordre d&eacute;croissant et de les lire comme s'il s'agissait d'un nombre.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Ainsi, la main A2348 devient&nbsp;84321, tandis que la main 23567 devient&nbsp;76532. De cette mani&egrave;re, on se rend facilement compte que&nbsp;23567 est la meilleure main low des deux.<\/p><h1 style=\"margin-top: 24px\" align=\"left\">Terminologie<\/h1><p class=\"emoNormal\">La terminologie est d'autant plus importante en PLO Hi\/Lo que certains des termes sont exclusivement utilis&eacute;s en PLO Hi\/Lo.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><strong>Nut low<\/strong><b> :<\/b>&nbsp;La meilleure main low possible, obtenue &agrave; partir de deux&nbsp;wheel-cards (voir d&eacute;finition plus loin) qui permettent de compl&eacute;ter une wheel A-5. Par exemple : A2 sur un tableau 368, ou 24 sur un tableau A38.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Nut-Nut :<\/b>&nbsp;Une main correspondant &agrave; la fois &agrave; la meilleure main high et &agrave; la meilleure main low, par exemple A2s sur un tableau 358 unicolore.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Counterfeit :<\/b>&nbsp;Se dit lorsque l'on poss&egrave;de la meilleure main low au flop, ou au turn, et que la carte commune suivante permet &agrave; une autre combinaison de deux cartes d'obtenir la meilleure main low. Si on poss&egrave;de, par exemple, A2xx sur un flop 357, et qu'un 2 vient &agrave; tomber, on dit alors que cette main est \"counterfeited\". En effet, c'est A4 qui correspond d&eacute;sormais &agrave; la meilleure main low.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Chop :<\/b>&nbsp;Situation dans laquelle deux joueurs se partagent le pot. G&eacute;n&eacute;ralement, ceci se produit lorsque l'un des deux poss&egrave;de la meilleure main high, et l'autre la meilleure main low. On entend souvent les joueurs live s'exclamer \"chop chop !\" (ou \"Chop it up, Baby !\" &agrave; la fa&ccedil;on de Scotty Nguyen). Lorsque tout le monde se couche jusqu'aux blinds, et que les deux joueurs s'embarquent dans un gros pot, il n'est pas rare d'entendre dire que \"c'est&nbsp;la banque qui gagne\", puisqu'en cas de chop,&nbsp;les deux joueurs perdent finalement de l'argent &agrave; cause du rake pr&eacute;lev&eacute;.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Freerolling :&nbsp;<\/b>Situation dans laquelle un joueur est s&ucirc;r de gagner une moiti&eacute; du pot d&egrave;s le flop, ou le turn, et b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie de la possibilit&eacute; de remporter l'autre moiti&eacute; du pot sans prendre le moindre risque. A2 remporte la moiti&eacute; du pot en tant que main low, et peut encore gagner l'autre moiti&eacute; du pot en tant que main high si la couleur se mat&eacute;rialise,&nbsp;lui permettant alors de battre le top set adverse.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Quartering :<\/b> Situation dans laquelle deux joueurs doivent se partager la moiti&eacute; du pot qui revient &agrave; la main low, ou &agrave; la main high, obtenant donc chacun un quart du pot total. \"Je me suis fait quartered avec la nut low\". Il peut &eacute;galement arriver que trois ou quatre joueurs poss&eacute;dant la low ou&nbsp;la high soient oblig&eacute;s de se partager la moiti&eacute; de pot correspondante, obtenant chacun un sixi&egrave;me, ou un huiti&egrave;me, du pot total. On utilise alors respectivement les termes \"sixthed\" et \"eighted\".<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Trapped :<\/b>&nbsp;Se dit d'un joueur poss&eacute;dant une main low et une main high de force moyenne, lorsqu'il se trouve pris dans une \"raising war\" entre une meilleure main high et une meilleure main low. Il se trouve donc&nbsp;pi&eacute;g&eacute;,&nbsp;\"trapped\" en anglais.&nbsp;Il continue &agrave; payer dans l'espoir de remporter au moins une moiti&eacute; de pot, et en se disant que les autres joueurs vont peut-&ecirc;tre finir par arr&ecirc;ter de relancer. Mais au final il perdra les deux pots.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Scoop:<\/b>&nbsp;Le fait de remporter l'int&eacute;gralit&eacute; du pot. Quand le tableau offre une possibilit&eacute; de main low, il est possible de remporter &agrave; la fois le&nbsp;pot low et le pot high, par exemple lorsqu'on poss&egrave;de la nut-nut.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Protection:<\/b>&nbsp;Lorsque l'on poss&egrave;de la meilleure main low au flop, ou au turn, et qu'aucune carte susceptible de tomber ne peut rien y changer. Exemple : on a AK23 sur un tableau 678. On dit alors que cette nut low b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie d'une protection, puisque m&ecirc;me si un A, un 2 ou un 3 vient &agrave; tomber au turn, on poss&eacute;dera toujours la nut low.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Wheel cards :<\/b>&nbsp;L'As, le 2, le 3, le 4 et le 5. Ces cartes composent une main low correspondant &agrave; la nut low : la meilleure main low possible.<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\"><b>Steel wheel :<\/b>&nbsp;La main A2345, compos&eacute;e de cinq cartes de la m&ecirc;me couleur.<\/p><p> <b>Wrap :<\/b>&nbsp;Tirage quinte qui peut &ecirc;tre compl&eacute;t&eacute; par un grand nombre de cartes. Vous poss&eacute;dez un brelan d'As, mais pas de main low. Vous avez besoin de deux cartes inf&eacute;rieures au 8 pour pouvoir former une main low. Dans le cas pr&eacute;sent, vous n'en poss&eacute;dez qu'une seule, &agrave; savoir l'As. Un joueur avec deux cartes low partagera au minimum le pot avec vous. S'il a deux wheel cards, ou une main allant de 62 &agrave; 67, il s'agit alors d'un scoop : toutes ces mains obtiennent une quinte comptant pour la main high, et remportent donc les deux moiti&eacute;s du pot, low et high.<\/p><div class=\"emoSubhead\">EXEMPLE&nbsp;2 :<\/div><p class=\"emoNormal\">Vous avez <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/Ah.png\" alt=\"Ah\" title=\"Ah\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/8h.png\" alt=\"8h\" title=\"8h\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/7s.png\" alt=\"7s\" title=\"7s\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/6s.png\" alt=\"6s\" title=\"6s\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"> sur le m&ecirc;me tableau que pr&eacute;c&eacute;demment (une wheel allant de l'As au 5).<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">Cette fois-ci, vous utilisez <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/7s.png\" alt=\"7s\" title=\"7s\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/6s.png\" alt=\"6s\" title=\"6s\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"> pour la nut high, mais contrairement au premier exemple, vous ne poss&eacute;dez pas la nut low. En prenant le <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/Ah.png\" alt=\"Ah\" title=\"Ah\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"> et le <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/6s.png\" alt=\"6s\" title=\"6s\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\" align=\"absmiddle\"> de votre main, vous obtenez la 2nd nut low. Un joueur avec deux wheel-cards poss&eacute;derait la nut low, ce qui n'est pas votre cas ici. L'As et le 2 vous donnent la nut low avec protection. Vous ne pouvez pas perdre la moiti&eacute; low du pot. Avec vos 3 wheel cards, l'As, le 2 et le 5, votre main ne peut plus &ecirc;tre counterfeited sur ce tableau. Votre main est d'autant plus forte qu'elle s'accompagne d'un tirage wheel wrap qui peut d&eacute;boucher sur un scoop. Chaque As, 2 ou 7 nous donne la quinte max et donc la meilleure main high.
