Ha a vakokkal, mint kényszernyitással való játékban egy játékos elmulasztja a vakokat kifizetni, és utána ismét beszáll a játékba, akkor házszabálytól függően nem csak a nagy vakot kell kifizetnie a játékba való újbóli beszállásért, hanem a kis vakot is. Ez utóbbit dead blindnek nevezik, mivel az nem számít bele a játékos nyitásába, hanem csak egyfajta büntetési díjat jelent, ami közvetlenül belekerül a potba. <\/p>
