Ez a Dan Harrington által fémjelzett fogalom azt a körülményt írja le, hogy annak a játékosnak, aki egy versenyen emeléssel vagy all-in-nel nyitja a kezet, annak az az előnye, hogy az összes utána következő játékos csak valamilyen jelentősen jó kéz birtokában tud vele együtt menni. Ezért az all-in-jével magasabb az elvárt értéke, mivel az utána következő játékosok gyakran úgy látják, hogy kénytelenek dobni az egyébként játszható, és jó kezeket a kedvezőtlen helyzet miatt.<\/p>

\nEnnek különösen a verseny késői vak szakaszában, vagy a vakokhoz viszonyítva viszonylag kis letétnél van jelentősége, mivel egy játékosnak ritkán van arra ideje, hogy várjon egy jó kézre, és ennek megfelelően legalább ki tudja használni az előnyt, ha elsőként nyitja a potot és all-in-be megy.
