Az olyan pókerváltozatokban, mint az Omaha<\/a> és a Seven Card Stud, két különböző változat létezik. Van egyszer a klasszikus változat, amelyben az a játékos viszi a teljes potot, akinél a legmagasabb kéz van. Van aztán a Hi\/Lo változat, ahol a legjobb kézzel (hi hand<\/a>) rendelkező játékos osztozik a poton azzal a játékossal, akinél a legrosszabb kéz (lo hand<\/a>) van.<\/p>

A lo-hand<\/a><\/h2>

\nKülönböző meghatározások léteznek arra, milyennek kell lennie egy „rossz\" kéznek. Az elterjedt, és az online pókerban felkínált Omaha<\/a> Hi\/Lo és Seven Card Stud Hi\/Lo változatokban az számít az öt kártya kombinációjából álló „rossz\" lapnak, aminek a mindenkori értéke kisebb, mint 9, és ráadásul a lapok egymás közt nem képeznek párokat, miközben minden további nélkül alkothatnak sort vagy flösst.<\/p>

\nA kártyasorrend ennél a 8-astól számít, a lo-hand-eket pedig mindig a legfelső laptól kiindulva hasonlítjuk össze egymással, úgyhogy a [8, 6, 5, 4, 3], mint lo-hand<\/a>, veri a [8, 7, 3, 2, ász] kezet.<\/p>

A pot<\/a> felosztása <\/h2>

\nA pot<\/a> (bank) felosztását egy Hi\/Lo játékban elvileg oly módon lehet elképzelni, hogy a pot<\/a> egyik fele a legjobb Hi-kéz, a másik fele pedig a legjobb ill. legrosszabb Lo-kéz számára van lefoglalva. Ha nincsen minősült Lo-kéz, akkor a teljes pot<\/a> azé a játékosé, akié a legjobb Hi-kéz. Ha két játékosnak azonos értékű Lo-keze van, akkor az erre lefoglalt pot<\/a> részen osztozkodnak, vagyis megkapják a bank egy-egy negyedét. Ha három játékosnak van egyforma értékű Lo-keze, akkor mindegyikük egy-egy hatodát kapja a potnak stb. <\/p>

Szintén ugyanígy osztoznak a pot<\/a> Hi-kezek számára lefoglalt részén azok a játékosok, akiknek egyforma érétkű Hi-kezük van. Ha valamelyik játékos a legjobb Hi-kezet és Lo-kezet is tartja egyszerre, akkor megnyeri a teljes potot, amit scoop-nak is nevezünk.
