Egy játékos pot committed<\/a>, vagy committed (potfüggő), ha már olyan sok pénzt illetve zsetont fektetett egy potba, és az oly mértékben megnőtt, hogy már nem képes a lapjait dobni, ha az ellenfele all-in<\/a> nyitna. <\/p>

Egy gyakori félreértelmezéssel ellentétben, ennek a tényállásnak nem az az alapja, hogy a játékos már befektette a letétje nagy részét, hanem mert nagyon jó bank esélyeket kap egy megadásért.<\/p>

Ha egy játékos például a letétje felét már befektette a potba, egy másik játékos pedig all-in-be nyitja őt, akkor ő a megadásért legalább 3:1 arányú bank esélyeket kap. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az eseteknek csak 25%-ában kell a kezet megnyernie ahhoz, hogy legalább ne legyen vesztesége. Ha még gazdátlan pénz is van a potban, akkor még kisebb nyerési esély is elég neki ahhoz, hogy haszonnal adhasson meg.<\/p>

Ha egy játékos viszont annyira hátul látja magát, hogy már nem hiszi, hogy rendelkezik a keze számára szükséges bank- és nyerési esélyekkel, akkor még mindig korrekt lépés a kéz feladása, bármennyi pénzt vagy zsetont fektetett is már be a potba, mert a potba befizetett pénz többé már nem azé, aki azt oda betette. <\/p>
