A showdown<\/a> (terítés) az utolsó játékszakasz, amelyben a még megmaradt játékosok a kártyáikat felfedik, és egymáséval összehasonlítják, hogy megállapíthassák, kinél vannak a legjobb kártyák, és ezzel eldől a játék nyertese is. A terítésre ebben az esetben az utolsó tétkör után kerül sor<\/a>. <\/p>

A lapjaink felfedését is szokták showdownnak nevezni, miután a tétkörben egy vagy több játékos all-in-be ment, vagyis az összes pénzét ill. zsetonját megtették tétnek, és a további játékosok számára már nem lehetséges tétet tenni, vagy mert maguk is all-in-be mentek, vagy mert az összes ellenfél all-in-ben van. Ilyen esetben a játékosok felfedik a lapjaikat, és végigjátsszák a kört, további tétkörök nélkül. A Texas Hold'em-ben például ilyenkor kiosztásra kerülnek a fennmaradó közös kártyák (tétkörök nélkül), és végül megállapítják, hogy ki a győztes.<\/p>
